Welcome to the 12th and final day of the 12 Days of Fitness! Today’s workout consists of a Skiing Workout. In the spirit of Christmas, skiing is a fun winter activity and great exercise. This workout is also beneficial to do before an upcoming ski trip. Be prepared for the slopes by doing these exercises which are much like how your body moves while on skis or a snowboard.
Even if you aren’t hitting the slopes, give this Skiing workout a try. It emphasizes the lower body for strength in the quads, hamstrings, glutes and calves. In addition you will work your core for stability and balance. All of these elements are important for skiing and snowboarding. Merry Fitness!
